The third day of Bridal couture week 2017 turns out to be really successful and amazing. It contributed magnetism, brilliance and quality fashion to the rising Pakistan fashion industry. There was a wide collection of all kind of fabrics and beautiful “karma” from light to heavy, vibrant to light colours, peplum to straight shirts. The most highlighted part of the night was the celebrity runway as showstoppers for designers. Showing off their collection in unique and charming styles.
These were the showstoppers as follows; Qurat-ul-lain Baloch for ZoniaAnwer, the gorgeous Saba Qamar for Uzma Baber, Kubra Khan for Asfia and Nabeel, Ali Noor for Munib Nawaz and many others. It was really amazing to see the celebrities dressed up as beautiful showstoppers to make the evening more exciting.
Here are the glimpses of the designers on the third day of Bridal couture week:
Zobia Anwer’s collection was all about feminism and special day of every girl’s life. It showed strength and power in women’s spirit. From jewels tones to the use of pastels. Flowery patterns and metallic sheer linings with an amazing cut and elegant floral work portrayed true meaning to feminism. “RaziZibaei” secret of beauty is truly an inspiration.
Furthermore, Uzma Baber’s collection “Kuwaish” portrayed free-spirited women and those who have ideas, goals and are ambitious. Her collection was inspired by custom and folklore. There was a beautiful kaam of gold and silver on her dresses. Saba Qamar was the showstopper and did her part gracefully.
Up next was Ahsan’s menswear “Tabeer 2018′, it was greatly inspired by the recent trip to the Mosque called Cordoba in Spain. It illustrates the lost memories and untold stories. The dresses were in floral prints and perfect for wedding dresses.
As we all know about Asfia and Nabeel’s amazing designs. Their collection, “Across the globe” was consists of chattering embroideries and beautiful colours. It was all about enriched dresses indulging in intricacies. Asfia and Nabeel’s collection was perfect for showing the true meaning of ethnicity. Kubra Khan was looking amazing in her gorgeous outfit.
Nickie Nina’s latest Bridal collection “Adeena Generation ” was quite a hit portraying culture values, dynamic colours and displaying the art of East. Her dresses consist of gota, beautiful embroidery and wide borders. While Munib Nawaz’s collection,”Galib”, is one of the unique collection which depicts inner thoughts with beautiful shapes of the garments. Modern with intrinsic detailing along with beautiful colours from spruce green to Turkish coffee and rusted copper.
Ali Xeeshan’s collection at the end of the day in Bridal Couture Week’s finale lits up the event. His collection ‘s “denial” was about the political and social issues that are going on in our country. The collection consists of colour palette, beautiful cuts and silhouettes. Indeed, it ended up the night on an epic note.
This year, the Bridal couture week was managed by Muneera and Amir of production 021 and jewellery was done by Hamna Amir. Hairstylist and Makeover were done by renowned stylist Nabila and choreographed by Vaneeza Ahmed Ali.
The 15th edition of the country’s biggest Bridal extravaganza was successful and was beautifully conducted. It was presented by Pantene and by Master Foam. Many known brands were part of this event such as Aquafina and a savoury partner Lays. FM 106.2 was the official partner along with snack partner Tuc. Pizza Hut was the food partner and Nestle Nido was the associate partner.
It was indeed an amazing event with twists and turns.
