The most exciting part of the winters is here. In Pakistan, winters are all about wedding seasons, lavish designer ‘dresses and food. Therefore, there are many fashion shows that are being conducted to show our culture and values all across the world. And the most exciting event is Bridal corture week 2017.
The show was started Fahad Hussain’s beautiful and unique collection, his main focus was to give a traditional and cultural look which was quite eye-catching and mesmerizing.
Now let’s have a look at others designers
Amir Adnan’s collection was all about taking us back to the time along with his traditional embroideries in most elegant and intricate designs and giving a cultural look. It was an inspiring and unique collection.
After that comes the Rizwan Ahmed’s outstanding’s collection named Sonehri. It’s a combination of traditional and signature design. It was an amazing collection of the remarkable use of color combination. He gave golden look on net, chiffon, and silk by using soft pastels and give an amazing look to it. Most of his dresses were of Peplums style which is the emerging trend these days. Overall Rizwan Ahmed ‘s collection was impressive.
While Midrash’s collection was more towards peaches, gold, and Champagnes. It was a unique and an attractive one. And then, Reema Ahsan’s collection was all full of vibrant colors especially red. Her showstopper, Mira Sethi, wore beautiful gold/silver velvet shirt along with plum lengha. It was a die for colour contrast.
Let’s not forget about Yasmin Zaman’s new bridal collection which also had a touch of Jashan e Bahar to give spring look. Her collection was eye-captivating with net dupattas and organza with traditional jamawar Ghaghara. The work on them was of Zari and Zardari. It was the delicate and prominent feature of her traditional collection. Her colour combination of orange, leaf, Green, Pink, and fuchsia was mind-blowing.
As we all remember NaushadImadad’s Eminence III prequel. The brand took the new turn by introducing its franchise in Pakistan named “Holland and Sherry Savile Row“, London. Eminence III was of vibrant colours with embroidered sherwanis which is quite eye-catching and will give traditional look for weddings.
At the second half of the night, Arsalan Iqbal’s Zauq lit up the show with innovative and creativity. It covered all the fabrics like raw silk and Merino wool. The menswear was quite a hit especially sherwanis, dhotis, waistcoats, and kurtas. His collection was remarkable from the start from ocean blue to emerald greens, dark red and maroon. It truly an amazing collection.
An exciting day 1 was concluded by the heartthrob of the fashion industry, Hassan Shehryar Khan concluded the night by showing his memorizing series of the bridal couture collection. It was quite unique and had a vintage glam in it, taking us back to the time when HSY mansions were built in Karachi. It was a beautiful collection of styles and colors.
